Space modular sofa is a lounge concept in a modern and Scandinavian design. The concept adds a new dimension to modular lounge sofas where one is capable of changing materials and functions and thereby the look. Space modular sofa can stand as a lounge sofa, but one can also change the back and side modules into tables, so the lounge sofa can even change into a sunbed. The table plates are of either certified teak or solid surface material, the fabric is the soft and comfortable Cane-line AirTouch. This innovative and contemporary lounge concept is designed by the Danish design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD.

AIRTOUCH FABRIC
Cane-line AirTouch is a 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric produced exclusively for Cane-line. During the development of this fabric, the focus has been on a hardy fabric with a nice structure and with a softness that we know from the comfortable Sunbrella fabrics. This has resulted in a soft but hardy surface. Cane-line AirTouch cushions come with QuickDryFoam®, which ensures maximum drainage and air circulation. The cushion thus dries faster when it has been exposed to rain and moisture. The QuickDryFoam® also has antibacterial protection that reduces the risk of fungal and mould formation.
POWDER-COATED ALUMINIUM
All of Cane-line’s aluminium furniture is powder coated. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The furniture is well suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
The strong frames, UV-resistant materials and quick drying cushions can stay out in the glaring sun, pouring rain or frost. The materials in Cane-line’s outdoor collection withstand vast temperature differences and season changes.
