Sense is an elegant and sculptural lounge chair in a modern, retro-design that will fit in any contemporary home. The Scandinavian design and the transparent design makes Sense lounge chair beautiful to look at from all sides. The chair is designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD. Sense is handmade from environmentally friendly natural rattan and is available in natural or black rattan. The fabric is allergy-friendly, durable and easy to keep clean and maintain. Rattan furniture can only be used indoors.
The Sense lounge chair has a characteristic and distinctive – almost sculptural look that fits with any type of interior. Its airy design and almost transparent back make the Sense lounge chair unique and beautiful to look at from every angle. The comfortable seat and back cushion is available in the exclusive Swipe fabric from Cane-line, which gives a comfortable and soft experience, as well as an easy and simple cleaning process with minimal maintenance.

Rattan is the rascal of the jungle. Rattan belongs to the palm family. It is a climbing plant that grows over trees and other plants in the rainforest. There are about 600 species of rattan. Cane-line uses only the best and strongest for furniture production.
The stems are cut manually in the jungle, meaning the harvest does not damage the flora and fauna in any way. Rattan is an incredibly fast growing palm, which makes it a very sustainable material. The outer layer of rattan plant is peeled off and used for weaving.
The core of the rattan is used to make furniture, which due to its movement and flexibility enables it to create a unique and very COMFORTABLE design.

Rattan is harvested in Sumatra and processed in Java.
