All of Cane-line’s aluminium furniture is powder coated. The UV-resitant powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The furniture is well suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
Cane-line’s Focus Fabric is made of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre). This weatherproof material withstands changing weather conditions, is UV-resistant and dries quickly after getting wet, which makes it ideal for outdoor use. It is easy to maintain and can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
The strong frames, UV-resistant materials and quick drying cushions can stay out in the glaring sun, pouring rain or frost. The materials in Cane-line’s outdoor collection withstand vast temperature differences and season changes.
The design duo Welling/Ludvik, Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik, are contributing to the renewal of environmentally friendly design centred around personal experience. They are defined by a pure aesthetic, stripping away excess and letting each detail serve a functional purpose. They aim to achieve the best possible solution as seen from a number of perspectives. Comfort, materials, construction, pricing and environment are all defining factors in their approach to design.
