The chair’s core is a durable, lightweight aluminium frame. This material provides a solid, corrosion-resistant foundation, which is essential for furniture facing the elements. The structure is then meticulously wrapped in synthetic Loom, a high-grade polyethylene wicker. This specific weaving material is engineered to resist UV exposure and moisture, ensuring the finish of this wicker outdoor chair remains consistent and beautiful over time.
Comfort is supported by a high-specification cushion system. The seat cushion uses 12cm of quick dry foam, engineered to offer firm support while allowing efficient drainage. The back cushion is filled with resilient polyester ball fibre, designed to yield and provide comfortable backing. The cushion covers are fully removable, making routine care and maintenance simple.

STRONG AND UV-RESISTANT
Vincent Sheppard weave is a fibre made of dyed and hard-wearing polyethylene. It is ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant. The fibre is flexible, and when woven, provides optimal comfort and a structure that is strong and can maintain its shape for years on end.
STRONG & WEATHER RESISTANT
Thanks to its density, which is only 1/3 of that of steel, aluminium is extremely lightweight and therefore very easy to handle.
Aluminium has a self-protective layer, which prevents corrosion and makes this material very suitable for outdoor applications.
All of Vincent Sheppard’s aluminium furniture is powder-coated. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The furniture is well suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
