The Peacock Wing highback chair invites you to languish in an atmosphere of peace and comfort. The Wing design encourages you to engage in hours of conversation and escape the hustle and bustle of the world.
The Peacock Wing highback chair is inspired by Cane-line’s rich Danish design heritage. Common to this lounge chair is the ingenious Cane-line Soft Rope wickerwork that covers the seat back and sides. The soft and slightly springy inner and outer sides protect you from the wind and direct sunlight and provide lower-back support. Experienced craftsmen weave the wickerwork by hand. Even for a fully-qualified craftsman, a lounge chair such as Peacock Wing takes about three working days to weave.
The Peacock series has an aluminium frame and legs in teak. The timber is approved and felled under Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. Webbing in the sofa and lounge chair frames provides a pleasantly springy base. Supplied with a set of seat cushions with the QuickDryFoam® and water-repellent Cane-line Natté textile. The seat cushions are dry in just one hour after even a heavy rain shower. The textiles are also UV resistant.

ROPE
Cane-line Rope is a combination of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre) over a core of Cane-line weave. The material is elastic and has a soft surface that acts like fabric. This weatherproof material withstands changing weather conditions, is UV-resistant and dries quickly after getting wet, which makes it ideal for outdoor use. It is easy to maintain and can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
SUNBRELLA NATTE FABRIC
Cane-line Sunbrella® Natté is a unique material produced by Sunbrella exclusively for Cane-Line. Sunbrella® Natté combines the strength of the unique Cane-line all-weather fabrics, Cane-line Tex®and Cane-line SoftTouch® with the comfortable softness of the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, resulting in a soft yet durable surface.
