This new dining chair Less marks a new direction for Cane-line and their product line. The Less chair is with it’s full die-casted seat and back in aluminium a unique piece of furniture made in a timeless design.
The design is created by the danish design team Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik. Less chair represents a very clear and utilitarian frame construction – refined down to the smallest detail. The aluminium frame is durable and hard-wearing which makes it easy to move around and stack.
Optimal for use both outdoor & indoor as it comes with a special outdoor powder coat that secures strong weather resistance. The chair is comfortable to use also without a cushion.
Less is a minimalistic danish design piece that fits well with interior and exterior settings.

POWDER-COATED EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM
All of Cane-line’s aluminium furniture is powder-coated. The powder coating ensures a surface resistant to knocks and scratches. The furniture is well suited to be left outside all year long and is easy to clean.
CANE-LINE WEAVE
Cane-line weave is a fibre made of dyed and hard-wearing polyethylene. It is ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant. The fibre is flexible, and when woven, provides optimal comfort and a structure that is strong and can maintain its shape for years on end.
The design duo Welling/Ludvik, Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik, are contributing to the renewal of environmentally friendly design centred around personal experience. They are defined by a pure aesthetic, stripping away excess and letting each detail serve a functional purpose. They aim to achieve the best possible solution as seen from a number of perspectives. Comfort, materials, construction, pricing and environment are all defining factors in their approach to design.
