The Escape sunbed is all about comfort, whether you are sitting and reading or lying down enjoying the sun. The Escape sunbed was born via a hotel project in the Caribbean by the young Danish industrial designer Rikke Frost, who approached Cane-line with her idea. The design was so extraordinary that it just had to be pursued. Major challenges to achieving the right comfort lay ahead, but the results speak for themselves.

STRONG & UV-RESISTANT
Cane-line Weave® is a fibre made from highly durable, solution-dyed polyethylene (PE), which is ideal for outdoor use as it withstands moisture and large variations in temperature. Both the structure of the fibres and the weave ensure elasticity and optimal sitting comfort. The durable material is UV-resistant and requires minimal maintenance. Cane-line Weave® has been developed to withstand climate conditions all over the world and the material will retain its colour and shape for many years. All products are hand-woven with the Cane-line Weave® fibre, which can vary slightly in colour, creating a nice contrast in the surface of the weave. This gives the furniture a unique, natural and exclusive look.
Rikke Frost believes that the materials and their combination create a unique experience both visually, functionally and tactile. She is often fascinated by a material or a certain production method. Through the combinations of materials and by exploiting their properties, she creates a natural utility. The designs must be seen and felt. The idiom is recognizable and simple, focusing on colour, detail and surprising features that give the experience of a uniform design.
