The Peacock lounge chair w. swivel is a modern piece of furniture designed by Danish designer duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD. A visually beautiful lounge chair with plenty of comforts, ideally suited for the home as well as the contract market. Like a magnificent feathered tail, the back of the Peacock lounge chair shields its occupant from the outside world, creating the feeling of being snuggly cocooned.
Peacock is manufactured using the soft yet robust Cane-line Soft Rope, which makes it ideal for outdoor use in any climate, as it is both temperature and UV-resistant. The Peacock lounge chair comes with a swivel base that can be rotated 360 degrees.
The design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD wanted to create a large chair with a shielding back and space to curl your feet up under you. The lounge chair is the natural focal point of the range. Dining chairs are already part of the range.
Specially designed seat cushions underscore the reference to the peacock’s tail and make the chairs comfortable to sit in. Foersom & Hiort- Lorenzen MDD have, as always, created a design in which the weaving method creates contrast.
The lounge chair has both a size and a character worthy of the space and visibility it demands. The distinctive shell that forms the back of both the lounge and dining chairs makes the furniture comfortable to sit in for long periods. Sleek by design, the dining chair goes with all the tables in the Cane-line collection and is also stackable.

ROPE
Cane-line rope is a combination of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre) over a core of Cane-line weave. The material is elastic and has a soft surface that acts like fabric. This weatherproof material withstands changing weather conditions, is UV-resistant and dries quickly after getting wet, which makes it ideal for outdoor use. It is easy to maintain and can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.

Cane-line Sunbrella® Natté is a unique material produced by Sunbrella exclusively for Cane-Line. Sunbrella® Natté combines the strength of the unique Cane-line all-weather fabrics, Cane-line Tex®and Cane-line SoftTouch® with the comfortable softness of the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, resulting in a soft yet durable surface.
