Peacock daybed, a piece of beautiful visual furniture with comfort as the keyword. Peacock is a piece of modern furniture designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD. Available in Cane-line Weave®, which makes Peacock ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant.
Like a magnificent feathered tail, the back of the Peacock daybed shields its occupant from the outside world, creating the feeling of being snuggly cocooned. For both the lounge furniture and the dining furniture, the new design is available in a Scandinavian light grey colour.
The design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD wanted to create a large chair with a shielding back and with space to curl your feet up under you. It comes with a cushion set + 4 large back cushions (60×60 cm); the daybed cushions come in an outstanding colour; Cane-line Natté light grey. The mix of two colours in the weave gives a very unique look. The Peacock Daybed comes with a small teak table, and can also be combined with our Classic parasol as an acquisition.
While the dining chairs have an aluminium frame, the cocooning lounge sofa has teak legs that add warmth and character to the furniture. Specially designed seat cushions underscore the reference to the peacock’s tail and make the chairs comfortable to sit in. Foersom & Hiort- Lorenzen MDD have, as always, created a design in which the weaving method creates contrast. Two-toned weaving amplifies this effect in shades of the light grey weave.
The daybed has both a size and a character worthy of the space and visibility it demands. The distinctive shell that forms the back of both the lounge and dining chairs makes the furniture comfortable to sit in for long periods. Sleek by design, the dining chair goes with all the tables in the Cane-line collection and is also stackable.

CANE-LINE WEAVE®
Cane-line Weave® is a fibre made from highly durable, solution-dyed polyethylene (PE), which is ideal for outdoor use as it withstands moisture and large variations in temperature. Both the structure of the fibres and the weave ensure elasticity and optimal sitting comfort. The durable material is UV-resistant and requires minimal maintenance. Cane-line Weave® has been developed to withstand climate conditions all over the world and the material will retain its colour and shape for many years. All products are hand-woven with the Cane-line Weave® fibre, which can vary slightly in colour, creating a nice contrast in the surface of the weave. This gives the furniture a unique, natural and exclusive look.
SUNBRELLA NATTÉ FABRIC
Cane-line Sunbrella® Natté is a unique material produced by Sunbrella exclusively for Cane-Line. Sunbrella® Natté combines the strength of the unique Cane-line all-weather fabrics, Cane-line Tex®and Cane-line SoftTouch® with the comfortable softness of the traditional Sunbrella fabrics, resulting in a soft yet durable surface.
