Designed by the Cane-line design team, Ocean combines modern design and traditional craftsmanship. An elegantly constructed lounge chair made with sturdy Cane-line Soft Rope on a strong aluminium frame with an incredibly soft and comfortable cushion in Cane-line Wove. The frame and transparent expression lend an extremely light appearance. Together with the soft seat and back cushion, Ocean offers both exceptional comfort and a visually beautiful aesthetic.
The design is obviously the result of Cane-line’s successful new techniques and designing furniture in close cooperation with the master craftsmen who make the wickerwork. Cane-line has its own production facilities and is therefore in close contact with skilled craftsmen who have generations of wickerwork experience. Together we encourage and cultivate the craftsmen’s creativity.
The lightweight, fishnet-like weave pattern in Cane-line Soft Rope is complemented by two seat cushions with a design expression that is entirely new to Cane-line. The seat cushions are lightweight and fluffy like foam on the sea.

ROPE
Cane-line Rope is a combination of a woven Selected PP covering (a thermoplastic fibre) over a core of Cane-line weave. The material is elastic and has a soft surface that acts like fabric. This weatherproof material withstands changing weather conditions, is UV-resistant and dries quickly after getting wet, which makes it ideal for outdoor use. It is easy to maintain and can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
CANE-LINE WOVE FABRIC
Cane-line Wove® is a unique material produced exclusively for Cane-Line. Wove® is made from a 100% Polypropylene fabric. Its soft surface provides comfort and is ideal for outdoor use due to its quick-dry capabilities, along with being UV-resistant.

Fabrics are mould and mildew resistant, making for weather-proof furniture that can be left outside all year round.
Breathable
Comfort
Breathable materials allow air to pass through, eliminating trapped heat and creating comfortable furniture with the feel and look you would expect indoors.
QuickDry

The core of the cushion consists of QuickDryFoam. The structure ensures that the small amount of water that does penetrate runs through quickly. With its built-in memory feature, the foam remembers its original shape.
