Luna Armchair is a sophisticated high-end chair designed by Søren Rose Studio. A dining chair with an emphasis on comfort. With its padded seat and back cushion, Luna provides optimum comfort. Even with the padded cushions, there is no reason not to leave the armchair outside. The cushions feature our popular QuickDry & AirFlow system which provides added comfort and ensures good air ventilation and quick drying after a downpour. The frame itself is made of teak, lending the chair a warm exclusive look.
One of the new items to evolve from Cane-line’s collaboration with Søren Rose is the Luna dining chair. Søren Rose set himself the task of drawing the perfect outdoor lounge chair – and then he transformed it into a dining chair. Søren took the comfort and enjoyment of a lounge chair and transposed them into a chair for the dining table that is comfortable to sit on for hours. The entire design team spent endless hours refining techniques and models, and the result is a superb dining chair with no visible fittings or joints and with a padded seat and back that seem visually to hover on the sturdy, first-class teak frame. The chair’s design has clear references to the 1950s, the Golden Age of Danish furniture design.

AIRTOUCH FABRIC
Cane-line AirTouch is a 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric produced exclusively for Cane-line. During the development of this fabric, the focus has been on a hardy fabric with a nice structure and with a softness that we know from the comfortable Sunbrella fabrics. This has resulted in a soft but hardy surface. Cane-line AirTouch cushions come with QuickDryFoam®, which ensures maximum drainage and air circulation. The cushion thus dries faster when it has been exposed to rain and moisture. The QuickDryFoam® also has antibacterial protection that reduces the risk of fungal and mould formation.
CERTIFIED TEAK
When you choose slow-growing teak from a certified plantation, you get extremely high-quality timber. Teak is the only wood that can withstand sun, rain and wind for many years without losing its looks – but teak also has another coveted bonus: “You can keep the teak we use for 50 years and never have to give it the slightest drop of oil. The quality is that good. Then it has a warm natural glow so the furniture blends seamlessly into the outdoor environment”, says design duo Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen MDD, who designed Endless. Teak patinates to an attractive light grey colour. If you oil teak, it retains its golden glow.
