LESS Dining Armchair
This new dining armchair Less marks a new direction for Cane-line and their product line. The Less dining chair is with it’s full die-casted seat and back in aluminium a unique piece of furniture made in a timeless design.
The design is created by the danish design team Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik. Less chair represents a very clear and utilitarian frame construction – refined down to the smallest detail. The aluminium frame is durable and hard wearing which makes it easy to move around and stack.
Optimal for use both outdoor & indoor as it comes with a special outdoor powder coat that secures strong weather-resistance. The chair is comfortable to use also without a cushion.
Less is minimalistic danish design that fits well with interior and exterior settings.

HEE WELLING & GUDMUNDUR LUDVIK
The Danish designers Hee Welling (1974) and Gudmundur Ludvik (1970) received their degrees from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating, they established a common studio, where they worked on individual projects. Since 2010, they have joint forces as Welling/Ludvik. Gudmundur was born and raised on Iceland and educated as cabinetmaker and sculptor. Hee has since his childhood worked at his father’s joinery. Their furniture has a clear reference to Scandinavian design traditions. Comfort, function and aesthetics are very important parameters in their work. They have won several national and international prizes for their furniture and were in 2013 nominated as Danish Designer of the Year. For Cane-line, Welling/Ludvik have worked exclusively with aluminum, forming this versatile material into airy, light weight and sculptural furniture. Aluminum can be used both inside and out, and the Cut bar collection, Area table and Less chairs will fit wherever you choose to place them.
